Award for East Midlands Airport fake goods operation

Customs officers at Nottingham East Midlands Airport have won a national award, after they seized record amounts of counterfeit goods this year. They are reported to have seized £4.3m of counterfeit goods over the last 12 months - with 70% of them from China.
The airport is the biggest air freight depot in the UK. The Anti-Counterfeiting Group has given its annual award for fighting counterfeit goods to customs officers at the airport.
