East Midlands Airport opens new prayer facility

A prayer room is to open at East Midlands Airport. The dedicated facility will be open 24 hours a day, seven days a week for worship, prayer and quiet reflection for the airports more than four million customers.
The area is to be located next to departure security at the airport. The prayer room opens on Monday with a 30-minute service and ceremony led by the Reverend Roy Monks.
A chaplain's office will also be available for people looking for personal consultation with a member of the airports ecclesiastical team.
