Staff work through the night to keep Norwich Airport open

Staff at Norwich Airport worked through the night on Wednesday to keep the runway snow-free, and were expecting to do the same again tonight to prevent people's winter holidays being disrupted.
Operations manager, Jon Dewing, said: 'We are watching the weather reports very closely, the low temperatures are not so much a problem for us as it is easy for us to de-ice the runway, snow is the big problem.'
'The airport has been very busy over the last few days and aside from a few short delays on Tuesday caused by snow showers all our flights have been running to schedule.'
