Norwich Airport loses more flights
21.04.08
Another blow has been delivered to Norwich Airport after it was revealed yet more flights will be axed, the Norwich Evening News reports. Travel firm Goldtrail Holidays has scrapped weekly services to Turkish destinations Bodrum and Dalaman for the summer peak season, from May to October.
The flights, operated by Turkish airline Onur Air, were cut for the summer, reportedly because of a shortage of planes, but no one from Goldtrail was available to comment. The move follows the loss of direct flights from Norwich to Paris and Glasgow and reduced services to Guernsey announced by the airport's main airline, Flybe, from the end of the month.
