Norwich Airport cigarette smuggler jailed

An Estonian man caught trying to smuggle almost 50,000 cigarettes into Norwich Airport has been jailed for eight weeks - and will be deported after serving his sentence the Evening News reports.
Andrei Selevits, 21, was stopped at the airport last Sunday carrying three bags filled with the cigarettes, which weighed 20 kilos. Three months ago he was given a warning notice for trying to smuggle a similar number of cigarettes into Exeter Airport and he was charged with both offences.
