Newcastle Airport launch charity drive

A team of staff from Newcastle Airport have kicked off a series of events to raise money for the National Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Children (NSPCC) The group wore Roman costumes for a trek of more than 80 miles across Hadrian's Wall, the start of a charity drive aimed at raising £30,000 for the NSPCC.
This campaign is part of 'Make A Difference', a development programme held by Newcastle Airport each year. Dave Laws, the airport's chief executive, said: ‘Customers may see the team when they travel during the summer. Do talk to them about how we are doing and how you can get involved. We encourage all to show their generosity and see how they can make a difference.’
