Thomson to link Newcastle Airport with Barbados

Thomson Airways announced Barbados as a new destination for Thomson and First Choice customers flying from Newcastle Airport for winter 2011, with prices starting from £679 per person return. In addition to holidays on the Caribbean island, the new flight will also allow customers to join the Thomson Dream for Caribbean Treasures and Tropical Delights cruises.
Newcastle Airport’s aviation director, Chris Sanders, said: ‘Thomson bringing this new direct route to Barbados from Newcastle is fantastic news for the airport and the North East. A first for Newcastle, it strengthens the breadth of choice offered to customers throughout the winter season, offering something a bit different.'
