Jet2 flights to Canaries from Newcastle Airport ready for takeoff

Low-cost airline Jet2 is to start flights between Newcastle Airport and Las Palmas, on Gran Canaria, and Arrecife, on Lanzarote, this week. The new flights to the Canaries start tomorrow, with the route to Las Palmas operating twice a week each Monday and Saturday. Flights to Arrecife will operate weekly each Thursday.
The flights join Jet2's existing winter flights from Newcastle to Tenerife. They allow passengers from the North East to take scheduled flight-only services to two popular canary islands, giving them the freedom to put together their own holiday packages with separate flight and accommodation bookings or to use them to visit holiday homes on the islands.
