The 2007 BUPA Great North Run will take place in Newcastle this Sunday 30th September. As a result passengers travelling to or from Newcastle Airport that day should expect traffic congestion due to road closures for the race. All passengers travelling to the airport in particular are urged to allow extra time for the journey to ensure that you will be able to check in on time.
