Newcastle – Oslo service for Ryanair

Ryanair is to launch a new service between Newcastle Airport and Oslo (Rygge), which is about 30 miles south of the city, on May 19. Seats on the new route, which is to operate three times a week, are from £23.99 one way, including taxes.
It will help to build on the existing strong historic economic links between the North-East and Scandinavia, which have been strengthened further recently because of the development of the thriving oil, gas, marine and sub sea sectors. The route will be Ryanair's fourth from Newcastle.
David Laws, chief executive of Newcastle Airport said: ‘Norway now becomes even easier and cheaper to reach by air from our region and is a fantastic country to visit for both holidays or on business.’
