New cocktail bar at Newcastle Airport

Newcastle Airport has celebrated the arrival of swanky eatery the Eagle Bar Diner, where Geordie holidaymakers can now sip cocktails and chomp on burgers before jetting out of the region. Tyneside firm SSP, which manages all catering at the terminal, has opened the only branch of the eatery is in central London.
SSP CEO Nick Inkster said: ‘Bringing Eagle Bar Diner to Newcastle Airport is great news and it is an excellent addition to the experience passengers can have. It shows Newcastle is developing into one of Europe’s top airports and it is fantastic for the area that this is the first one of these restaurants outside of London.'
