Jet2 offers fast track access on Newcastle - Gatwick flights

Passengers travelling on Jet2's flights between Newcastle Airport and Gatwick will be given free, priority fast track entry through security, meaning less time spent waiting in the queue the cheapflights website reports. The news comes despite reports that Jet2 is to cancel the route this winter.
The airline, which already offers online check-in, has introduced the service to provide quicker and more direct check-in and boarding facilities on its three daily flights between Newcastle and London.
A spokesman for Jet2 said: 'We are delighted to offer free priority, fast track security check-in on our very popular shuttle service to London. It means our passengers from the North East can speed through the queues, leaving more time to spend at their leisure or on business.'
Jet2 offers flights between Newcastle and Gatwick in the early morning, midmorning and early evening Monday to Friday, with a single return flight each Saturday and Sunday. However, a search on the website indicates flight times until October 28th, with no flights available to book after this date despite the airline launching its winter schedule last week.
