Jet2 announce Newcastle – New York Christmas shopping flights

Jet2 will operate direct service between Newcastle Airport and New York’s Newark Airport on December 2 and 9, the first ever flight from the airport to NYC. The flights, aimed at Christmas shoppers, are available from just under £360 return.
The airline offered a similar service from its Leeds Bradford home in December 2008 and is repeating it this year. The schedule is the same as for Newcastle, hinting the service may be ‘doubled up’ if it fails to attract sufficient demand at either airport.
