Emirates use kids goodie bags to promote Newcastle Airport route
05.08.07
Children heading back through Newcastle Airport over the summer are being given a special Emirates' goodie bag to promote the launch of the airline's new route to Dubai, which takes off in three weeks time (September 1).
Emirates staff at the airport are handing out thousands of brightly coloured ruck sacks at the airport's arrival gates to children returning home from holidays. Inside the bags are fold-out maps of the world, coloured pencils and Emirates' luggage tags, as well as a copy of the colourful magazine e-kids produced exclusively for Emirates' young fliers.'
Emirates' spokesman, Laurie Berryman, said: 'We realise the importance of providing the best possible service for all our customers, including the very youngest of them. We hope this giveaway will serve to get people in the North East excited about the family friendly service they can expect on Emirates.'
The airline will operate a daily non-stop flight to Dubai, providing passengers with an ideal holiday destination or the chance to connect with 20 onward destinations on the Emirates' network.
