Most punctual airlines revealed

The most punctual scheduled airlines operating from the UK's major airports have been revealed by flightontime.info, using information obtained from the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA). The website has revealled that, in the scheduled airlines section, Eastern Airways was the best performer in the first quarter of 2008, followed by Air Berlin and bmi regional.
The most punctual low-cost airline in the first three months of the year was bmibaby, followed by Ryanair and Flybe, all of which had average delays of between 10 and 11 minutes. Flightontime.info also surveyed a number of key routes and found that easyJet was the best on-time performer on the competitive connection between London and Edinburgh.
easyJet was also the most punctual on services between London and Aberdeen, and second for punctuality at Glasgow Airport behind bmibaby. The CAA statistics covered operations at a number of the UK's major airports, including Heathrow, Gatwick, Newcastle, Birmingham and Manchester.
