New long haul holiday flights take off from Newcastle Airport

Two new long-haul holiday flights will take off from Newcastle Airport for the first time this weekend. The Thomsonfly flights to Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic and Cancun in Mexico will take off for the first time on Sunday and Monday.
Chris Sanders, head of airline relations and development at the airport, said ‘Since last summer,we have worked harder than ever to develop our long-haul route network. We are very pleased to announce even more scheduled flights to some beautiful destinations across the world.’
