Jet2 to increase Manchester – Egypt flights

Jet2 is to increase the number of flights it operates from Manchester Airport to Sharm El Sheikh in Egypt. The flight frequency will double to twice weekly - departing each Thursday and Sunday - from the start of next year. Fares start at £79.99 one way including taxes.
Philip Meeson, Chief Executive of Jet2, said: ‘When we announced the first low cost service to Sharm El Sheikh from Manchester in 2008, we were confident of its popularity but never envisaged such overwhelming demand. As a result, we have increased frequency for the 2010 season, giving the people of Manchester and surrounding areas guaranteed sunshine next year.’
