A new Escape Lounge is to open in Terminal 1 at Manchester Airport. The new 'pay-as-you-go' airport lounge will be available to passengers for a fee and will stand alongside the new Emirates Lounge, opened in October 2009, which will welcome passengers travelling on the A380 from September.
Manchester Airport Commercial Director Andrew Harrison said: ‘Last year was a massive success for the £80 million worth of improvements we unveiled in the terminals and we have subsequently seen passengers spending more. We completely rejuvenated old infrastructure and modernised it for the benefit of the consumer and we were delighted with the results.'
‘By unveiling the new airport lounge, we’re looking to expand the amount choice for our customers. I want the new lounge to offer our users the best product available to them.’
