Jet2 boosts Manchester – Tel Aviv service
28.07.09
Low costs airline Jet2 has announced its Manchester - Tel Aviv service will continue through the winter – and due to customer demand the service it will increase to twice-weekly. The airline said it was upping its capacity on the route because of ‘overwhelming’ customer demand for the flights to Israel. It only launched the route in May, but said demand had been sustained both by holidaymakers and the north of England's Jewish community.
The budget airline will increase to the frequency of its service from 22nd March – 28th October 2010. Flights will depart each Monday and Tuesday. Jet2 is the first low-cost carrier to fly to Tel Aviv, but rival easyJet announced this month that it will launching services to Tel Aviv from its Luton base.
