Olly the Manchester Airport cat to get turkey Christmas dinner
23.12.07
Olly, the jet-setting Manchester Airport cat, is looking forward to a perfect Christmas - thanks to kind-hearted workers, the Manchester Evening News reports. He is getting ready for a slap-up turkey dinner from his army of airport staff admirers.
The stray one-eared ginger moggie has been living a first-class lifestyle since he was adopted by staff at Manchester Airport last spring. His switch from the low-life to becoming a high-flying VIP happened after he was spotted wandering near Olympic House - the main office block at the airport.
Hazel Williams, who works on the reception desk, told the newspaper: 'I'm sure he'll find something special in his stocking and some workers will be coming in especially to give him some Christmas dinner.'
