Flybe carry millionth passenger on Manchester – Belfast route

Flybe this week welcomed the one millionth passenger on its route between Manchester and Belfast City airports. Elizabeth Taylor from Newtownabbey in County Antrim was welcomed on her arrival in Northern Ireland by Charlie Lawson, best known as Jim McDonald from Coronation Street, with a bouquet of flowers and a bottle of champagne.
Andrea Hayes, Flybe's general manager of market development, said the airline was 'proud and excited' to achieve the milestone on its flights between Manchester and Belfast.
