Jet2 carries 20 millionth passenger

Low-cost airline Jet2 has carried its 20 millionth passenger on Tuesday. Keith Moffat and his wife Julia were given VIP treatment as they checked in at Manchester Airport after they were greeted by the airline's managing director Ian Doubtfire.
Jet2 said that the milestone is part of a ‘landmark year’ for the carrier at Manchester Airport, its second biggest base after its home hub at Leeds Bradford. The carrier will celebrate its fifth anniversary of operations from the base and is set to introduce new flights to Venice, Prague, Gran Canaria, Funchal this summer.
