VLM Airlines has announced that it will launch an additional return service between London City Airport and Manchester Airport from 1st March. This will bring the number of return flights on the route to nine each weekday.
In addition to the extra flights, the airline is also optimising its schedule to offer a greater number of departures at peak times, allowing business travellers more flexibility when planning their meetings in either city.
Johan Vanneste, Managing Director VLM Airlines said: 'Despite the fierce competition on this route, VLM Airlines has achieved a great deal of recognition amongst the business community and extra demand has brought us to the decision to introduce an extra return flight.'
This new adds to VLM's twice-daily non-stop service to Antwerp launched in October last year new a twice-daily non-stop service to Rotterdam to be launched later this month.
From London City, where VLM is the biggest airline, it offers flights to Luxembourg, Amsterdam, Antwerp, Rotterdam, Groningen and Brussels as well as the Isle of Man, Jersey and Liverpool.
