Manchester – Dhaka flights planned

Biman Bangladesh Airlines has announced plans to operate a new route to Dhaka from Manchester starting in November. The twice-weekly service will take off on November 2 and will be the longest direct route out of Manchester Airport, with a flight time of more than ten hours.
The airline will operate a triangular route with its inbound service stopping at Heathrow and then flying on to Manchester. The outbound will run direct from Manchester to Dhaka. The new flights will operate on Wednesdays and Saturdays from Dhaka using a newly purchased B777-300ER with a two-class cabin configuration with 35 Business-Class seats and 384 Economy-Class seats.
