Freight company expands at Manchester Airport

Manchester Airports Group has agreed a three-year lease with Blacksmith Freight Services to take a 4,184 sq ft unit at its World Freight Terminal. The deal was agreed on MAG's behalf by agent Regional Property Solutions at £9.95/sq ft.
Ben Gregory of RPS said: ‘Blacksmith Freight Services were looking to expand from its current premises at the airport and the ability to provide flexible accommodation from 4,000 sq ft to 19,750 sq ft meant that we were able to agree a deal quickly.’ Under a separate deal, a new café will be created at the freight terminal in a 1,300 sq ft premises let at £10,000 a year on a three-year lease.
