Manchester Airport roadworks warning

Passengers are being warned to allow extra time if they are travelling to Manchester Airport due to roadworks caused by railway repairs.
Network Rail will be replacing a bridge close to the airport, which will mean the main road to Terminals One and Three, Outwood Lane, will be closed between next Friday (February 15) and March 3.
An airport spokesman said he could not be sure how much extra time motorists would need to allow, but that he did not expect major disruption. Clearly visible diversion signs will be in place.
