06.04.09
bmibaby is to start a new Manchester Airport route to the French town of Grenoble from October, in time for the ski season. The low cost airline said it expects to fly 4000 people between October and March on the weekly Saturday flight, with fares from £49.99 one way including taxes and charges.
The airline plans to operate flights to Grenoble from four UK airports next winter. Flights will operate twice a week from East Midlands, Birmingham and Cardiff, in addition to the once a week service from Manchester. The airline also said that due to strong bookings it would continue twice weekly flights from Manchester to Toulouse, launched this summer, over the winter. Fares start at £29.99 one way.
