Weather closes Manchester, Liverpool and Leeds Bradford Airports

Manchester, Liverpool and Leeds Bradford airports have suspended all flights this morning after heavy snowfall across large areas of the north of England. In addition Durham Tees Valley Airport was closed yesterday evening, and it is unclear whether it will open on time this morning.
Manchester Airport has suspended flights at least until 12:00 and there are currently no flights out of Liverpool John Lennon or Leeds Bradford. Passengers have been urged to check their flight status with the airline before setting off to the airport.
Elsewhere budget airline easyJet cancelled a number of flights on its European network, including two between Luton Airport and Milan.
