JAL add Heathrow - Manchester flight to codeshare deal

Japan Airlines will offer twice-daily code share flights operated by British Airways (BA) between Manchester Airport and Heathrow from today. The expanded code share agreement adds Manchester to JAL's Japan - Europe network, providing smooth connections onto daily services between London - Tokyo (Narita) and Osaka (Kansai).
Including code shares, JAL now connects Japan to 26 cities in Europe on 38 routes. JAL and BA - both members of the oneworld alliance - first started code sharing in 2004. It already places its 'JL' designator on flights operated by BA between Heathrow and Hamburg, Stuttgart, Vienna and Zurich.
