easyJet to launch in-flight travel insurance

easyJet is to launch an in-flight travel insurance service. The budget airline said it would offer the service because its research found that one in five holidaymakers from the UK were flying off uninsured.
A spokeswoman for the airline said passengers who have forgotten to purchase insurance prior to their trip can buy it from their plane seat from Monday. It will be interesting to see how they deal with the FSA compliance rules, with passengers who have pre-existing medical conditions or older passengers.
