29.05.09
Passengers taking off from Luton Airport can now fly to South Africa, Asia and India, thanks to a new route from EL AL to Tel Aviv. They can use the service to take onward flights to other destinations including Beijing, Johannesburg, Hong Kong, Bangkok and Mumbai.
Flights between the Israeli city and Luton Airport will begin this weekend and are to run six times a week. Glyn Jones, managing director of the airport, said the launch was ‘very exciting’ because it offered the possibility of onward connecting flights.
