EL AL switch flights from Stansted to Luton

EL AL is to switch its flights from Stansted to Luton Airport. Its six flights a week service to Tel Aviv is scheduled to start from May 3 using a Boeing 767 with business and economy class seats.
Flights will depart Luton from Sunday to Thursday at 12:15, arriving at Tel Aviv’s Ben Gurion Airport at 19:05. On Fridays they will depart Luton at 09:45 and arrive in Tel Aviv at 16:35. The return flight will leave Tel Aviv Sunday to Thursday at 07:30 arriving Luton 10:50; on Fridays the flight arrives at 08:15.
The airline’s UK CEO Uri Danor said: ‘We are excited about our new venture and have had good co-operation from Luton Airport to enable us bring this service to the market. The timings are good as our departures and arrivals will be at times when the airport is probably at its quietest enabling swift boarding and disembarkation.
