easyJet offer hotel ‘rescue package’ for Ryanair customers

Luton Airport based budget airline easyJet has announced a 'rescue package' for Ryanair passengers after its Irish rival confirmed that it has terminated its contact with Expedia.
A spokesman for easyJet announced that, following Ryanair carrying out its threat to terminate its hotel supplier contract with Expedia, easyJetHotels are offering Ryanair customers an extra 5% off rates at easyJetHotels.
Bill McKimm, easyJet’s Head of Ancillary Revenue, said: ‘It is imperative in the current economic climate that people have great choice and outstanding value when booking their hotel. Therefore, easyJetHotels are offering this rescue package to stranded Ryanair customers who can book hotels both online or through our call centre.’
