Early release for easyJet spring 2010 flights
24.07.09
In an attempt to gain an advantage in a recession hit aviation market, easyJet is changing the way in which it releases its seats for the coming seasons, making it possible to book earlier. The budget airline has today released its schedules for Spring 2010 from its bases across the UK regions.
Previously the airline launched its schedules in two six month blocks, winter and summer timetables. The change means it is now possible to book flights from Belfast, Bristol, East Midlands, Liverpool and Newcastle up to the end of June 2010. Flights from London and Scotland will go on sale within the next few weeks, and seats for Summer 2010 are expected to go on sale next month.
An easyJet spokesman said the new process will enable passengers to better plan ahead and take advantage of the airline’s fantastic lowest fares. It will also mean that the airline gets its hands on passengers money much earlier, and can adjust its schedules ahead of time depending on demand.
