Luton Airport flightpath meeting tomorrow
23.05.08
People worried about the effect new flight paths could have can get advice at a public meeting tomorrow, May 24
National Air Traffic Services is currently consulting on changes to the flight paths in and out of Luton Airport, which opponents say will bring misery to many residents, with thousands more people in Luton and villages including Caddington and Slip End suffering increased aircraft noise.
The meeting is being held at Farley Community Centre in Delphine Close, Luton, from 10:00 until 12:00. Luton borough councillors, local airport noise campaigners and Luton South MP Margaret Moran will be present. Ms Moran is also encouraging residents to take part in the NATS consultation, which has been extended until June 19.
