Standard Life increase easyJet stake

easyJet said in a stock market notice today that Standard Life Investments Ltd has lifted its stake in the company to about 38.12 million shares or 9.05 percent, making it one of the biggest shareholders in the budget airline.
The investment comes at a time of record oil prices and weakening passenger demand. Although the airline's shares have dropped significantly this year, most investment analysts still expect it to underperform the market. Obviously not the ones at Standard Life though.
