easyJet expects busy half term

easyJet will carry 750,000 passengers from the UK this half term. Getting away from the miserable weather seems to be the reason why Spain is the favourite destination, with families jetting off with easyJet in search of some sun. Its top three destinations are Alicante, Barcelona and Malaga.
easyJet's UK general manager, Paul Simmons, said: ‘More people than ever are taking advantage of a late family holiday this year, with 750,000 passengers jetting off across Europe with easyJet. The majority of passengers are looking to hit the beach and soak up the sun, or taking a city break in Europe's cultural hotspots. Getting away from the unreliable English weather seems to be the main objective.’
