easyJet expects record Christmas

easyJet has said its Christmas passenger numbers are set to reach record levels.
The airline will fly more than 1 million travellers over the festive season, with 5% more in the week before Christmas than at the same time last year.
Over 7,600 flights are scheduled in the seven days leading up to 24 December. Friday (December 23) will be the busiest day, with 1,166 services carrying more than 160,000 passengers. Edinburgh and Berlin are among its most popular destinations for New Year's Eve getaways.
