New £3 priority security lane for Luton Airport

Passengers taking flights from Luton Airport will be able to use a priority lane for quicker access through the security checkpoints - providing they pay a 'small' £3 fee. Bosses at the airport revealed this week that construction work will begin soon to create the dedicated security lane.
Natalie Raper, marketing director at the Luton Airport, said that the aim of the new paid channel was to reduce waiting times for all passengers, as some travellers were prepared to pay for a quicker route to security search points and this would take them out of the non-paying line.
