easyJet to rent TV’s for in-flight entertainment

easyJet is to offer passengers in-flight entertainment for the first time, ABTN reports. Personal TVs will be available on selected flights for £7.50 under a new partnership with bespoke travel services provider Mezzo that starts this week.
Passengers will be able to hire personal devices loaded with ‘a range of blockbuster movies, TV programmes, music and games’. The Dell Android OS tablets cost £7.50 to hire, feature a five-inch screen and weigh 290 grams.
Selected flights from the UK will carry 19 of the devices, which fit into a single drawer of the carrier’s in-flight kiosk.
