easyJet back leukaemia charity
14.07.08
easyJet passengers will be asked to donated loose change and spare currency to leukaemia charity The Anthony Nolan Trust this summer. Collections will take place on all flights starting from today (Monday) until September 26.
The budget airline has already raised £1.3 million for the charity from on board collections in the past two summers. This has enabled the charity to recruit approximately 18,000 new donors to the bone marrow register.
A proportion of the money raised will also be given to other bone marrow registers in Europe. England Rugby World Cup winner Will Greenwood launched the appeal.
