Aer Arann suspend UK – Galway routes for the winter

Aer Arann has suspended services to / from Galway Airport for the winter season. A full schedule will operate up to and including 31 October, but thereafter routes from Galway to Southend, Luton, Manchester, Edinburgh and Waterford are all suspended.
A spokesman for Aer Arann said bookings were declining and all routes are projected to be loss making during the winter season. He added that the airline cannot continue to operate routes that are not commercially viable.
