easyJet adds new hotels partner

Irish company Hostelworld.com has entered a partnership with easyJet to offer the budget airline's passengers access to its budget accommodation search. The budget hotels and hostels provider already has a similar deal with rival Ryanair.
The partnership means that easyJet’s 45 million passengers a year will have access to Hostelworld.com’s inventory of more than 20,000 properties in 170 countries worldwide, including all easyJet destinations, via the airline's website easyJet.com. A spokesman said that reservations are secured in real time online on payment of a 10 percent deposit, with the balance paid on arrival, making the process of finding safe, good value accommodation simpler.
The new service will be promoted via the easyJet homepage and on the flight-confirmation screen within the booking process.
