easyJet to axe crew’s free tea
09.04.09
Pilots at easyJet may find themselves closer to the no frills experience enjoyed by passengers after the airline confirmed that it is considering cutting free tea and coffee for its cabin crews, employeebenefits.co.uk reports.
The airline has said it is also looking at a number of other measures, including reducing the number of meals provided to pilots on longer flights from two to one, in order to reduce costs. The website reports that crews will still have access to free hot water, but will have to provide tea bags and instant coffee for all 'sky high cuppas'.
