easyJet passengers up 4.3%

easyJet carried 4.3% more passengers in July than a year earlier, as demand for cheap flights held up in the recession. The airline flew 4.66m passengers during the month. Its load factor climbed to 90.3% from 89.3%.
In the 12 months to the end of July the airline carried 44.7m passengers, up 6.4%. Its average load factor was up 1.8 percentage points 85.3%.
