Director leaves easyJet

Luton Airport based budget airline easyJet has announced that Dawn Airey is to step down from the company's board in order to concentrate on her new role as chairman and chief executive of Channel 5.
She had been a non-executive director at the airline for the last five years. easyJet said in a statement that it is close to confirming the appointment of a successor.
Sir Colin Chandler, easyJet's chairman, said: ‘I was delighted when she was appointed to her new job but I regret that the demands of the role have led to her decision to step down. We wish her the best of luck.’
