74% of London City Airport flights on time

More than seven out of ten flights left London City Airport on time in the last quarter of 2008, according to figures released by the Civil Aviation Authority. Statistics showed a marked improvement in on-time performance at the airport compared to a year earlier.
Seventy-four percent of flights departed on time in the period October - December 2008. This was an improvement of 16 percentage points over the same period in 2007.
