VLM adds London City - Luxembourg flight

Dutch airline VLM has announced that it will add an extra flight on its route between London City Airport and Luxembourg next month. The extra service will begin on October 28th and comes after the airline saw a 12 percent increase in passenger traffic on the route during the first six months of this year.
Johan Vanneste, managing director of VLM: 'We are extremely proud of the results we have attained in Luxembourg so far and look forward to offering the same impeccable service to our customers in the years to come.'
The airline also operates a number of flights between London City Airport and European cities including Amsterdam, Rotterdam and Brussels. It also intends to boost its flights between Manchester and Luxembourg from October 28, bringing the total weekly number of services on the route to 20 from 12.
