CityJet launch London City – Milan flights

Air France - KLM subsidiary CityJet has launched a two flights a day weekday service to Milan Linate Airport from London City Airport.. The new route brings its network from the Docklands hub up to 14 routes.
CityJet is using a 90-seat AvroJet AR8 on the route, with fares starting at £178 return, including taxes. The airline's CEO, Geoffrey O’Byrne White, said: ‘We’re already the largest operator out of London City Airport. Our new route to Milan not only complements our existing European network but also cements our leading position at the airport.'
‘The route offers a frequent and efficient service to the business and financial capital of Italy with a schedule that allows both outbound and inbound passengers to do a full day’s business in either city.’
