London City Airport offers job finder scheme

Unemployed Newham residents are being given the chance to give their careers a lift thanks to a scheme being run by London City Airport. The Take Off Into Work programme has been launched by the Airport in partnership with Newham Workplace and the East London Business Alliance.
The scheme includes career workshops, CV and interview preparation as well as work placement opportunities across a number of airport departments and companies. Four candidates have already found employment with airport companies HMS Host and Nuance Tax and Duty Free.
